Typical per-mailbox growth for stable organisations is 2-5%. With a 7-year retention policy, storage stabilises once the backup window is full — older snapshots are deleted as new ones are added. Compression ratio of 0.55x applied to all raw data. Every email is archived in two compressed restore formats (MIME + FTS) for 1:1 restore fidelity, so the stored footprint is ~2x the compressed size (net ≈1.10x of raw). How is pricing calculated?
Pricing consists of two components: a per-mailbox license fee for the platform, and a storage fee for data exceeding your included quota. Each plan includes generous storage per mailbox (10-50 GB). You only pay for overage if your stored data exceeds the included amount.
What counts as a mailbox?
A mailbox is a licensed user mailbox. Shared mailboxes are counted separately. Resource mailboxes (rooms, equipment) are not counted.
What happens if I exceed my included storage?
Your backups continue uninterrupted — we never stop protecting your data. Overage is billed per GB based on your average daily usage during the billing period. Storage is measured after compression (~0.55x) across both stored restore formats (MIME + FTS), so 20 GB of raw email data uses roughly 22 GB of your quota.
Why is every email stored in two formats?
Each email is archived as a compressed MIME copy plus a FastTransfer Stream (FTS) via the Microsoft Graph Import/Export API. The FTS copy enables true 1:1 restores — including flags, categories, and metadata that MIME alone cannot preserve. Both copies count towards your storage quota; the calculator above already accounts for this.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you will be charged the prorated difference. When downgrading, unused credit is applied to your next invoice.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, all plans come with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required. You can archive up to 10 mailboxes during the trial period.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and SEPA direct debit for European customers.
What happens after my trial ends?
